"Decisions and actions taken by the United States and Europe are unconstitutional and unacceptable because they violate major national laws as well as diplomatic liberties and violations of national liberty and sovereignty." -Government of Eritrea.
Last week, US President Joe Biden blamed the escalation of the conflict in northern Ethiopia, its involvement in human rights abuses, its obstruction of humanitarian assistance, and its obstruction of the ceasefire agreement.
- Bodies of the Federal Government of Ethiopia
- Amhara Regional State officials
- TPLF leaders
- The Eritrean government has ordered further sanctions against the leaders
The Eritrean government said in a statement that the TPLF leaders had publicly stated that they had launched an offensive in the north, adding that the TPLF had secretly obtained information during the war that the plan had been approved by the central committee.
The Eritrean government has said that the deafening propaganda campaign in the name of human rights and humanitarian assistance to cover up this heinous crime in the past few months and to expose the TPLF to account is a shocking development.
The Eritrean government has said that the deafening propaganda campaign in the name of human rights and humanitarian assistance to cover up this heinous crime in the past few months and to expose the TPLF to account is a shocking development.
The statement added that the TPLF had declared war on Eritrea in 1998 and committed atrocities against civilians. He asserted that human rights abuses were committed primarily by the United States and the European Union.
He cited the 20-year-old crisis in the region, the invasion and destruction of Somalia, its atrocities against the Ethiopian people, as well as serious human rights abuses committed by the United States and the European Union.
He said the current security crisis in Ethiopia, which is affecting peace in the Horn of Africa, is a continuation of the TPLF's crimes and consequences of its 27 years in power with the help of large budgets and courage in the West.
A statement from the Eritrean government stated that it is the nature and legal right of the Ethiopian people to protect themselves and their security at a time when the TPLF is in a state of despair. He said the international community should condemn and condemn the TPLF's destructive actions in order to avoid accountability.
Instead of condemning the inhumane treatment of millions of children and women by the TPLF, the international community condemned the actions of the West as unforgivable in the history of the world.
The Eritrean government has strongly opposed Biden's decision, saying that decisions and actions taken by the United States and Europe are unconstitutional and unacceptable, as they violate major national laws as well as diplomatic liberties and sovereignty.
