The commission said in a statement that despite the efforts made to end the war in the Tigray region, the war has spread to neighboring Amhara and Afar regions, causing irreparable damage to lives and property.


He noted that in recent years, there have been widespread incidents of violence and violence across Ethiopia, based on ethnicity and other identities.
The Ethiopian Reconciliation Commission (ERC) said in a statement that it has gathered elders from all over the country to identify and study conflicts and attacks, their causes and solutions.
He said the results showed that there was no chronic problem among the population.

He said the society, especially the elders and various sections of the society, if given the opportunity and heard, will realize that there is a national way to resolve most of the conflicts and violence in our country.
In general, he called on the public to work together to alleviate the problems and bring lasting peace to the conflict-affected areas, to mobilize the entire population to rebuild the war-torn and displaced, and to ensure that the information provided by activists, journalists on social media and other media is not aggravated.
