UNICEF said more than 850,000 measles vaccines were introduced in Mekelle

 UNICEF said more than 850,000 measles vaccines were introduced in Mekelle, the capital of Tigray region last week.

UNICEF says the vaccine is an important step in ensuring that children under the age of five are vaccinated against measles.

Measles is highly contagious but can be easily prevented by vaccination.
