What did the Amhara Regional State President say about the acquitted TPLF leaders?
The President of the Amhara Region, Dr. Yilkal Kefiale, addressed the media about the drop in charges of TPLF leaders during the statement. Dr. Yilkal said it is true that the people are complaining about the release of their leaders as they have been mistreated for life, property and psychology over the past several years by portraying them as enemies of the Amhara people. He also said that he will not forget for a moment that the people of Amhara have been subjected to a series of abuses by these people.
However, he said, "What we need to do now is not to put aside our divisive and divisive ideas and focus on our core goals and principles. "If we focus on release of TPLF members and resolving the issue, we will be vulnerable to further attacks," Dr. Yilkal warned."For us, the Amhara region, it is in our interest to focus on our principles and to strengthen our unity and to protect ourselves from possible re-invasion."
